The North Central Washington Chaplain Foundation held its 2nd annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast at Awaken Church on May 9, 2017, in Wenatchee. In attendance were law enforcement officers, fire personnel, 911 dispatchers and administrative personnel from local agencies. The keynote speaker was Deputy Dan McCue of the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. Numerous raffle prizes, gift certificates and event coffee mugs were given to attendees. On Thursday, April 27, 2017 the North Central Washington community and local law enforcement agencies opened the Apple Blossom Festival with the ‘Chief For A Day Celebration’. Participating agencies were the; Chelan and Douglas County Sheriff’s offices, Washington State Patrol, Wenatchee and East Wenatchee Police Departments and Washington State Wildlife. Chaplain Crutchfield gave the invocation at the event. Below are pictures from the event.
The North Central Washington Chaplain Foundation will once again host a Appreciation Breakfast for local first Responders on May 9, 2017. This event is open to Fire, EMS, 911 Dispatches, police and sheriff employees. The Breakfast will be held at the Awaken Wenatchee Church in Wenatchee between 7am- 8am. This week North Central Washington Chaplain Foundation chaplains delivered 15 trays of Christmas Cookies to the 15 first-responder agencies we serve in Chelan and Douglas counties. Each tray contained a variety of cookies and a Christmas card. Many of these emergency personnel sacrifice their time away from their families during the holidays, so that they can continue to serve and protect our communities.
The North Central Washington Chaplain Foundation, with the help of Positive Life Radio, held a drawing on November 19, 2016 to send eleven first-responders and their spouses to a Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference. These weekend marriage retreats are held in different locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and each couple will be able to chose which conference they will attend. Winners for this contest include first-responders from the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, Chelan County Fire, Cashmere Fire Department, Douglas County Fire, and River Com Dispatch. Congratulations to all that were chosen.
